Wise Woman’s Cottage is the place you go to sit at the scrubbed wooden table, and warm your feet in front of the dancing fire.
I believe we all remember a time and place that exists inside us, where we can go to receive deep wisdom and Truth from the Wise Woman.
Many years ago, wise women were persecuted, but she has never left us.
She moved to a secret place where she could live undisturbed in quiet peace, seclusion from the “madding crowd” and joyful harmony with the ALL that is, and nature.
We all have access to the Wise Woman at Wisdom Cottage. She is within each one of us. . .
In her cottage, she pours you a steaming, healing, soothing tea concoction, in a well worn cup and saucer with a pattern of old roses on the saucer and cup. The “brew“ is delicious and made from wonderful freshly ”just picked today” organic herbs from her healing garden.
As you warm your hands on the teacup and inhale it’s delicate aroma, you relax, glad to be here, it always makes you feel “home” here. So warm and cosy, and far from “the world” and hidden in the trees.
As you sip your tea, you wait for her to finish attending to her tasks and finally she pulls up a chair at the table infront of you.
She sits quietly for a seeming endless moment, as she “assesses you”. There’s no need to tell her anything. She “knows”, and you wait with baited breath to receive the steady melodic wisdom that she will shortly share with you.
When she does, her Truth - capital T, and wisdom is profound.
Sometimes seeming to be confusing, or at times paradoxical. She doesn’t pander to what you think you should hear.
She knows the ancient ways, and the secret pathways to your true calling and your heart.
She is not afraid to “upset” you. Though she is powerful at talking in a way that you can understand and grasp.
She doesn’t need you, nor your approval.
However, she will help you if she believes the time is right, and it will be of benefit to you and the world.
She has been tarnished with a silly black brush.
She is actually very light, not dark at all.
She is joyful, and earthed. Wise, yet young at heart and in Spirit.
She lives on the earth, and yet is not of it.
She understands the Wise ways.
Wisdom from Wise Woman’s Cottage serves to be a sacred treasure of the old ways. Taught long ago by the most holy one(s).
You can explore the Treasury of her wisdom by resting in the silence inside you, and allowing the light of her wisdom to shine like a steady beacon from deep within.
The wisdom will come to you in flashes of insight. Inner knowings and Truth’s.
Bringing with it a cascading feeling of rootedness. Alive-ness. A rich love of the sacred-ness of the earth, water, nature and the trees.
A warm feeling of invigoration, of being AWAKE to who you REALLY follows on its heels.
Your “Sacred Pathway” becomes illumined in front of you. And will guide you gracefully home.
Home to your TRUE IDENTITY. Your True Wisdom. Your true PURPOSE.
You are are free to visit Wisdom from Wise Woman’s Cottage whenever you want to.
Everyday during the week, her treasury is added to.
You can venture from “the world” occasionally, or dive right in.
Your Sacred Pathway is calling you from within, only your Spirit knows “the way home”.
Wisdom from Wise Woman’s Cottage simply offers itself to you as a guiding light shining a pathway in front of you, so that you can find your own way home to the truth of your heart and Spirit.
